Mom just had foot surgery and half my family is sick, between that and a couple of friends having some probs, everything in the world of Bob is alright. Be praying for my mom and some of my friends. | Well, its been a long time since ive posted on here but here I am. A lot of stuff has happened since the last time I posted but Im still alive and kicking. Its almost THANSGIVING and its about that time of year, YES.... here comes CHRISTMAS !!! Gotta love this time of year. I saw a GREAT concert on Thursday night and it really got me thinking of how im living my life as of late. Casting Crowns and Building 429 were awesome and Tony Nolan is freakin' hilarious and a great speaker (He's like a mix of Gomer Pyle and Mark Lowry). After hearing Tony speak about the child and the family he had ministered to and had the opportunity to watch God work through, its gotten me to write down and hopefully be able to preach and share a couple of stories that I have never told and should be heard. I'll let yall know if I ever get the chance to preach on it so yall can hear it. On the relationship front, I broke up with Jenny last month and im currently single, BUT pursuing a certain lead ;).... praying that will come through, and I think it will. | Hey all, Guess those select few that actually read this might wanna know where Ive been. Well, I have been fairly busy lately and havent gotten online very much due to that. Been going out with my girl and working a little more at church since my youth minister has had some recent health problems, so be praying for him. | Im gonna have to start this one out with a BIG.... GO REBELS !!!.... West Morgan playing some tough D, wins a tough OT game 10-7 and it was great to watch. Now, time for a little venting.... Why are people so dang wishy-washy these days??? Can we not make solid plans AND STICK TO THEM ??? In the last 2 weekends Ive had 4 people bail on me, and im counting the friend that hasnt called me about tomorrow in that too. And im not counting another 2 friends that couldnt make solid plans to begin with. Thats 2 ruined weekends cause folks renig on things cause of dumbass reasons. Im sorry, but this isnt acceptable. Ive been known to really light a fire under my friends, I reckon this might be a time for another. Either that or the next time I get shafted, I return the favor in kind. Im really getting tired of being left holding the bag. Anyway.... for the friends that havent stuck it to me lately, God Bless... for the rest of ya, Im forgiving you... but Im not forgetting it. | | |
